Rescue the Remnants
Awareness Campaign
To create an awareness campaign for the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) partnering with the Bronx Zoo in New York. The main objective is to inform others of the work WCS is doing and to raise donations for their cause.

The intent here was to stand out in a city that already has enough going on. To try and connect what themes the city and these endangered species may share. Crafting something that functions as both a work of art and an informative ad about conservation.
I felt that a collage treatment of the posters would best harmonize with the status of these animals. Their habitat, and their families, are all in pieces and what WCS is trying to do is make them whole again. Not to mention since the collage is made of various paper waste, I imagine New York has seen a fair share of that problem.
The subjects picked are meant to represent different habitat zones affected and looked after by WCS. The wolf represents the tundra, sea turtles apart of the ocean, elephants and the savannah, and the leopard representing the rainforests respectively. The colors however were chosen to highlight the unnatural state of the animals (leopards aren't really purple in nature) and to contrast with the heavily busy black background.
